Pro bono

Traditional service companies and law firms have a realization rate of about 80%. This implies that they cannot invoice or charge for 20% of their production.

Given that AGG focuses on value creation and not on billable hours, and also owing to its greater operational efficiency, AGG does not suffer from the typical slumps in the sector.

AGG’s differentiated business model, and its partners’ commitment to serve society, allows AGG to dedicate an average of 15% of its annual work to nonremunerated activities (“pro bono assignments”).

The policy for pro bono assignments considers:

  1. The availability of the professional assigned to handle the case.
  2. The type of issue involved. Special consideration is given to those cases whose resolution may have a positive social impact. In other words, we consider not only the material justice of the particular case, but also whether AGG’s eventual solution of the case may achieve a multiplicative or expansive effect.
  3. The difficulty and novelty of the issue or problem, for AGG, but also for society.
